Hello everyone--- this is week three and now our study is going to really take off!! Please complete Study 1/Meditation 1 on Psalm 1 this week. Post as often as you like throughout the week as you work through this. Psalm 1 is one that many of us have memorized, but if you haven't yet, I challenge you to do so. Keep one another in prayer this week as we get into study in ernest now. Be sure to look at the participant guide and also the leader's guide for added comments and insight.

I really enjoyed getting deeper into this Psalm One this week. Seeing Jesus in it is so exciting. This is something new for me. In the past I have been good about contemplating God and His character and how it affects my life, but seeing Jesus was something I did not really consider when reading through the Psalms--unless of course it was really obvious. Now I am on a roll!! Basically, all my life I have been a lazy Psalm reader and had not developed a prayer strategy with them. I love TK's outline. It heeps me focused and disciplined.
Sometimes I really need a helper! Well, actually at ALL times I need THE HELPER , but that is not what I meant by the above .I shall try to explain. Okay, I make no excuse when I admit I just came to our study this a.m. That will be my loss. As I read through these lessons it always perturbs me that he gives the answers. I do not want to be given the answers before I mull things over for myself, so I ignore them until I have my own answers .Now you more "with it " gals know where this is going, right ? For some reason as I was shutting this down until later it dawned on me that initially TWO files came and were sitting on my desktop and perhaps I should look at the other one ! Of course, I had been in the leaders file rather than the participants ! You knew that didn't you !! Now you see why I need a little "h" helper . It is a good thing the Lord gave me a sense of humour!
Later I will post on this Psalm as it connects bigtime with where I have been this week and I see God's hand so clearly in that !
I totally agree with you Kathy. When you delve into the Psalms you realize what a rich body of knowledge is found within. And praying through them is even more rewarding.
