I really gained alot from this past week's study into Psalm 103. Although I am pretty sure that I understand the fact that each day I "preach the gospel" to myself I had never really given it too much thought. What an essential component to our relationship with Christ. How else can I overcome my emotions that can lead to doubts and fears?!? I appreciate how we were reminded of all the "remarkable" claims of who and what God is. I am struck by the fact that since I am only human that I can only praise Him with what is humanly possible; therefore, it must come from my innermost being. Even then I think that I only acheive a fraction of what praise God deserves. As the week went on I discovered that I was able to talk to my own heart even more when I contemplated all the words of this Psalm.
